9 Dead is a brutal death metal/deathcore band from Gloucester City, New Jersey, formed in 2020. Known for their intense sound and relentless energy, the band delivers crushing riffs, slamming breakdowns, and guttural vocals. The current lineup features Jon Stauffer (guitar), Blake Kinnamon (vocals), Chris Kusmanick (bass), and John Kopfle (drums). After some early lineup changes, 9 Dead solidified their sound and gained traction in the underground scene. Their single “Drowning,” produced by Eric Taylor Parker and mixed/mastered by Chris Kelly, showcases their raw aggression and atmospheric depth, marking them as a rising force in modern deathcore.
